Generous Helpings

Generous Helpings is an annual tasting event hosted by Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee to support their Grocery Rescue Program. Held at Marathon Music Works in Nashville, this 21+ evening brings together local restaurants, chefs, and food lovers for a night of delicious food, craft beer, and fine wine. Guests sample a wide variety of dishes from some of Nashville’s best-known spots like Edley’s BBQ, Thai Esane, Goo Goo, and more. The event raises funds to help Second Harvest rescue millions of pounds of surplus food from grocery stores and redistribute it to families in need across Middle Tennessee. Sponsored by Kroger as part of their Zero Hunger, Zero Waste initiative, Generous Helpings is more than a culinary celebration—it’s a powerful way for the community to come together and fight hunger while reducing food waste.
