News 2 Food to Families
Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee and News 2 WKRN-TV are teaming up again for the News 2 Food 2 Families School Food Drive from September 15-October 31.
On the first day of school, children facing hunger are already at a disadvantage. Hunger makes it harder to concentrate in class, contributes to frequent illness, and limits academic success.
In 2024, 30 local schools participated, helping provide more than 200,000 meals. Organizers are aiming for an even greater impact in 2025.
