Clothing the Hungry in Compassion

Verse: “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink.” - Matthew 25:35

In this verse, Jesus invites us to care for the “least of these.” When we help feed someone who’s hungry, we’re doing something real and important. It’s a reminder that kindness goes beyond just giving food. It goes beyond simple charity. It’s about showing respect, building community, and offering hope. Let’s let compassion guide what we do and remember that every meal shared can bring someone closer to a deeper sense of connection.

God, help me to see You in the faces of those who are hungry. Give me a heart of compassion and hands ready to serve. May my actions glorify You as I care for the least of these in Your name. Amen.
